1999 – BSc in Environmental Engineering, Kaunas University of Technology.
2001 – MSc in Environmental Engineering, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University.

MSc Inga Silvestravičiūtė has been working in the
field of environmental protection since 2000. During 2001-2005 she has
worked as an engineer in the Institute of Environmental Engineering at
Kaunas University of Technology, and during 2003-2005 she has worked as
a project manager for waste and environmental impact assessment
projects in the public enterprise “Centre for Sustainable Industrial
Development”. MSc Silvestravičiūtė took part in preparing the Secondary
Raw Material Recycling Programme in Lithuania, Construction and
Demolition Waste Management Regulations and other legal documents for
the Lithuanian Government in the field of waste management. She has
prepared environmental impact assessment (EIA) studies and applications
for IPPC permits for energy plants, mineral extraction sites, tyre
recycling and incineration enterprises and other waste management
companies. She has also taken part as a consultant for waste management
in the EU-funded project “EUWAS - European Waste Sector Assistant”, and
in the project “Technical assistance to Vilnius Regional Waste
Management Centre” in preparation of technical documentation for
landfill and civic amenity sites.
Main areas of competence: project management,
environmental impact assessment, IPPC permits, waste management,
environmental protection, environmental health and safety audits,
assessment of noise, air and water pollution.
