Education:

1999 – BSc in Environmental engineering at Kaunas University of Technology.
2001 – MSc in Environmental engineering at Kaunas University of Technology.
2005 – PhD in Technological Sciences at Kaunas University of Technology.

PhD Dainius Martuzevičius has been working in the field of environmental protection since 1999. Since 2005 he has worked as an engineer, since 2006 – as a lecturer in the Department for Environmental Engineering at Kaunas University of Technology. Starting from the 1st of February, 2007, he has been elected as a Head of the Department for Environmental Engineering.

During the period of 2001-2002 PhD Martuzevičius had been working as an engineer/data analyst in the public enterprise “Kaunas Environmental Quality Research”, where he participated in the municipal air quality monitoring campaign, as well as carried out technical maintenance of measurement equipment and analyzed air quality data. From 2002 to 2005 he had been working as a visiting scholar at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, where he conducted various environmental and laboratory experiments. He has prepared 4 peer-reviewed publications and co-authored 10 publications published in the journals of ISI database. He is a member of American Geophysical Union (USA) and Air & Waste Management Association (USA).

Currently he consults companies, prepares Environment Impact Assessment studies, applications for IPPC permits, and environmental parts of technical projects. The main areas of competence are general environmental engineering, ambient and occupational air pollution, waste management, environmental impact assessment.
